CODEPINK: Earthmother hippies playing guitars

Forwarded by two (!) different extremist lesbians (not that there's ANYTHING wrong with that!) from an e-mail list to which I do not belong - nice Chinese American girls do not normally associate with frumps (no matter how striking or "charmingly" lubricious in a middle-aged Berkeley kind of way) - comes an e-mail I cannot wait to share with the world.

And I have to share it; white hippies playing guitars is something I shall not personally attend.
Maybe you will?

Ballads about peace, love, bunny rabbits, and political activism sung by guitar strumming dippy women - that PROVES that they hate the world.

Frankly, I would rather be torn apart by camels than listen to crappy music at a gathering of the unwashed.
Feh.

So I'm hoping some of the readers go to the event, armed with bile.

[END TRANSMISSION]

Yes, I really hope someone disrupts Miss/Mr. Betsy Rose's hootenanny. Even the business types in the financial district do not deserve that torture. They too are human.
Dysfunctional women wailing melodiously about healing, oh boy.
But as I said, I won't be there. I have delicate sensibilities.

They arrived late - about 4:30.
Stayed till six.

The singing was very nice. That woman has a lovely voice and sings well. Songs about little children (ugh), peace (urk), mothers (yick), sunshine (bleah), happiness (bluorghhhh!), and similar fuzzy happy themes.

Passers-by divided their love between both sides. One or two said stupid things - Gandalf and I have decided that she is the thug and I am the murderer.

A few of the pinkers were confused in a bovine sort of way by our presence. Some were extremely abrasive. One or two were quite clueless - about everything.

Gandalf took lots of photos.
My smoking upset them.
Then we poured water on their chalked sidewalk slogans and left.
